Safety, Performance, Aesthetics

Solar IslandWe believe every client deserves the highest level of Safety, Performance, and Aesthetics. We stake our reputation on every project we deliver. We want every client to be a valued business friend and reference, and the only way to do that is deliver quality and success.

We are committed to delivering this through effective communication, our rigorous quality assurance program, top-notch workmanship, and continuous attention to detail.

Safety

Safety starts with job-site safety: fall protection, site cleanliness, elimination of fire hazards, ladder safety, and other problems that result in thousands of injuries and insurance paid losses every year. Neither of us wants to call our insurance company and tell them any bad news!

But safety in our minds goes beyond the completion date. We want to make sure that none of our project EVER experience a fire or structural failure or wind upset or injury to unskilled persons or any other avoidable hazard for the life of the system.

Our safety practices focus on minimizing operational risk and eliminating safety incidents. We have had no reportable safety incidents since the inception of the company. Our workers compensation national rating is significantly lower than the national and regional average. We are proud to share our safety records and Safety Plan with our clients.

Performance

Top Performance – Start to Finish

Our Caribbean and remote-island business clients have high expectations for the performance of their renewable energy systems. These include achieving the predicted financial returns, consistent energy delivery, reliability and meeting system up-time targets, reduction of maintenance effort, and others.

Every SolarEnergy project must meet or exceed these performance expectations, and also must be affordable.

Our engineering team is constantly monitoring the solar equipment market, through continuing education, vendor seminars, annual training, conferences, and industry publications. Because we will only use equipment that is proven to delivery results in the long term, installed by crews with extensive experience and training.

We have the references across the Caribbean and the US to prove it!

Quality Assurance is Key

To help you achieve top performance over the long term, all of our projects include:

  • Wiring inspection, commissioning, first annual safety check, and power production test.
  • Monitoring system for tracking energy production and system status.
  • Renewable energy system operator training session and system briefing.
  • Energy Star “benchmarking”, so building owners can better understand their overall energy performance level.
  • An industry standard “walk-through” energy audit, or ASHRAE Level-1 energy audit.
  • Recommendations of Energy Efficiency Measures for building energy systems.

Rest assured from concept to reality, your high-performance renewable energy system will be delivered by a top performing Caribbean company that has your best interests at heart

Aesthetics

We believe the visual appearance of a solar-energy system is integral to its safety and performance. Because when the system is symmetrical, organized, with clean visual features, it is easier to maintain, easier for rapid response during an emergency on the site, and simply is more fun.

Some of our clients want to hide their solar-PV project, because of architectural integrity of the building or grounds. But more of our clients want to show off their project and investment! Many of our projects actually are designed to be visual highlights; experience has proven that our clients who “show off” their solar structures and use them in marketing become more well-known and are considered forward-thinking, caring companies.

Aesthetic results start with planning. Then it is important that the installation be done with a high degree of consideration about maintenance (not only the solar-PV system but other building systems). Then it is absolutely essential that the workmanship be top notch.
